Three bedrooms are available for individual mid-term rentals for traveling nurses or other temporary professionals in our guest house.

(8 month maximum contracts and no long term or open ended rentals)

The home is located about 7 minutes from the Southern Vermont Medical Center on a town road. The road and driveway are both plowed regularly and each room has a lock on the door. (See more details on the rooms below. Updated photos coming soon as the beds are getting re-configured to match the descriptions.)

The kitchen, dining area, sauna, and all the sitting rooms are shared spaces with the other tenants. The common areas and shared bathrooms will be cleaned once a week as well as linens and towels as part of the rental. Any rental over three months is guaranteed two sets of brand new sheets and towels that will be rotated for the cleanings.

Fluff and fold is available for a small fee so tenants can skip going to the laundromat.

We do request that tenants keep all shared spaces tidy. The house is fully furnished with all the trappings of a home including all cookware, dishes, linens, etc. and a television in each bedroom.

The Bedrooms
Pirates

Pirates is the master bedroom on the first floor. The first floor full bathroom with shower is across from the bedroom and private for the Pirates tenant. (There is an additional loo that will be for shared use on the first floor as well.)

Pirates has a King sized bed and a Twin bed (which can be transformed into a sofa with a bunch of pillows!), a large dresser, an armchair, and plenty of closet space.

Gondoliers

Gondoliers has a Queen Sized bed, dresser, and closet and is located next to the shared bathroom on the second floor. There is a sitting area just outside of the bedroom.
Price: $1250/month

Yeomen

Yeomen has a Queen Sized bed, dresser, and closet and is located on the second floor next to another sitting area. The 2nd floor bathroom is shared by the tenant in Gondoliers.
Price: $1250/month

The entire home is unique and grand. It was conceived by Jenny’s father who was a bonafide eccentric. He lived a large life and was truly one-of-a-kind. The owners, Jenny and John, live in the addition and rent out the guest house also known as the South Wing. There are two separate entrances and sound-proofing between the houses. Your stay is entirely private despite the proximity to owners. Enjoy watching the goats get fed from atop of the pirate ship but that’s about it!
