Mother’s Day at The Apple Barn!

Mother’s Day has a way of creeping up on all of us.

You want it to feel thoughtful. A little special. Not rushed, not something grabbed on the way somewhere else.

So this year, we’re trying to make it easier.

We’ve been getting things ready here at the Barn with that in mind. Bakery boxes filled with some of our favorite desserts, quiche and pot pies to take care of a meal, and simple options that don’t require a whole lot of planning.

But one of the things I’m most excited about is something a little quieter.

We’re setting up a small space here just for moms. A place to sit, have a coffee or something sweet, and actually take a minute. And while she’s sitting, we’ll have an in-house craft set up for the kids to make something just for her.

There’s a little surprise built into it too. Something they’ll get to bring over when they’re done that feels a bit more personal than anything off a shelf.

And if you’d rather take that moment home, we’ll also have our strawberry shortcake DIY kits ready to go. Everything you need, all packed up, so the kids can put their own spin on it and make something just for Mom.

Nothing over the top. Just a few simple ways to make the day feel a little more like it should.

We’ll be here all week getting things ready, and all weekend for whatever you might need.
